Corporation Sony plans to start sales of Blu-ray-disks with the films which have been written down in a 3D-format, next financial year, which will begin on April, 1st, 2010 According to the assistant to the head of 3D-business Sony Joe Nakaty (Joe Nakata), the companies specialising on converting of video, are already ready to work.
In the summer of 2010 Sony 9 models of LCD-TVs Bravia and Blu-ray-players with stereoeffect support plan to start sales approximately. Also about this time the new version of an insertion for PlayStation 3 which will add possibility of reproduction of a 3D-content will be let out.
Now the Japanese manufacturer of electronics carries on negotiations with broadcasting companies and developers of video games for release of products with support 3D. Corresponding agreements are already concluded with Discovery Communications and Imax. Following the results of 2012-2013 company Sony plans to earn on products with support 3D $11, not including a gain from content sale.
