Samsung will begin a batch production of OLED-panels in 2010

Company Sony has already presented the first TV on the basis of technology OLED, and first such TVs will soon go on sale. However consumers should wait up to 2010 if they want to get OLED-TVs from Sony with the size of the screen more, than 11 inches.

Nevertheless, main competitor Sony in the market of Lcd - TVs, company Samsung goes forward. According to representatives Samsung, the company plans to begin a batch production of 14-inch OLED-TVs this year. Though, in opinion of some analysts, most likely, Toshiba will outstrip Samsung in this race.

Representatives Toshiba have declared, that the company will begin a batch production of 30-inch OLED-TVs in 2009. Others consider, that at Toshiba too arrogant plan. In fact at present even Sony it is limited to release only 11-inch OLED-TVs. As is known, Sony announced first OLED-TV XEL-1 in the beginning of October, 2007. Thickness of the TV makes only 3 mm. Though the standard sanction of the TV makes only 940 x 540, he is quite capable to accept video signals Full HD 1080 p and to display them on the screen by scaling the image.

Technology Active Matrix OLED (AMOLED) is one of the most perspective technologies which can help OLED to supersede to TVs plasma and Lcd - TVs from the market in the near future.
