Corporation Sharp has managed to develop the superthin LCD-display a diagonal of 2,2 inches, intended for use in portable technics. Thickness of the display makes only 0,68 millimeters that does by his most thin display in the world. The corner of the review of the display makes 176 degrees, time of the response - 8 ms. The device has the parameter of contrast comparable to LCD-TVs - 2000:1.

The Display is submitted at FPD International exhibition in Japan. He will be applied in mobile phones, digital cameras and other consumer electronics where the sizes of the device and each millimeter are especially important defines commercial success of model.
